The Moldova 1 Leu banknote is part of the 2015 issues. It is colour yellow and brown. The obverse side features Stefan cel Mare, a coat of arms, a victory token, the denomination as a registration device, and a bank logo. The reverse side shows a bank logo, Stefan cel Mare, a coat of arms, a crescent moon between Traian and Infinity columns, and the Manastirea Capriana (monastery in Capriana). This banknote measures 114×58 mm and contains a solid security thread with demetalized BNM. Additionally, it bears a watermark with Stefan cel Mare design.
